Farm Tour + Blueberry Wine Tasting 2021
October 16 @ 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Gather with local food community on the Deep Spring waterfront Saturday, October 16, for a fall farm tour and complimentary organic blueberry wine tasting. Enjoy pure, delicious flavors sourced from Deep Spring Farm and local producers. Reserve your glass with website booking, $25 via Venmo or $26.50 via card.
5:30PM: Converge on the waterfront for a glass of roselle iced tea, fresh air and space in abundance under the sprawling canopy of majestic live oaks.
5:45PM: Guided stroll of grounds with farmer conservationists Leela and Michael to soak up gorgeous views and organic vibes.
6:15PM: Circle back to waterfront platform to sample a glass of blueberry wine and appetizer pairing prepared by Alix. The crostini appetizer features blueberry jam, local goat cheese, and bread (with gluten).
Enjoy the waterfront at leisure. You are welcome to bring a picnic, or carry on to High Springs or Alachua for dinner. Take home an edible hibiscus roselle bouquet $10.
We are delighted to partner with local farmer and food entrepreneur Alix Freck. Alix hand picked gallons of blueberries this past June at the height of flavor and sweetness to make wine and jam to share in community. Alix is partnering with local farmers to craft farm to glass wines and host farm to table dinners. Follow the journey @duckysfarm, and look for Alix and Alexander Venable’s food truck business, Cajun Knights, in the near future.
Make your reservation at website booking, then pay:
- $25 Venmo @deepspringfarm (confirmation 8127) or PayPal as friend email@example.com.
- $26.50 with card, follow PayPal prompt (don’t need account) after booking.
Refunds given in case of cancellation by host due to weather, etc.
Love and thanks to you for supporting local farms and springs conservation. Enjoy each breath and every bite!
